Lindsay Lohan says she’s contemplating a 2020 bid for president.
America could be in for a “Mean Girl”-in-chief.
Lindsay Lohan teased a potential 2020 presidential run in an Instagram post Friday, presenting the first celebrity adversary to Kanye West, who announced his bid at the MTV VMAs in August.
“In #2020 I may run for president,” the 29-year-old “Mean Girls” star captioned a photo of herself attending the 2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner. “Through ups and downs #YESWECAN lets do this.”
Lohan strung on a litany of shoutouts — including to West, President Obama, UNICEF and the nonprofit Ali Forney Center — and confusingly seemed to also support the rapper’s candidacy with the hashtag “#kanyewest2020.”
The “Parent Trap” actress even gave a taste, however vague, of a possible political platform.
“The first thing I would like to do as president of US is take care of all of the children suffering in the world,” she captioned a subsequent post of West placing a hand on her shoulder. “#queenELIZABETH showed me how by having me in her country.”
Lohan, whose birthday is July 2, 1986, wouldn’t meet the job’s minimum age requirement of 35.
She hasn’t clarified whether her bid is serious, but the 38-year-old West has doubled down on his own declaration.
“Oh, definitely,” the rapper told Vanity Fair when asked last month if he would still vie for head of state. “I’ve got five years before I go and run for office and I’ve got a lot of research to do, I’ve got a lot of growing up to do.”
A rep for Lohan has not yet replied to the Daily News’ request for comment.
