The defeated police officers walked away from the crowd after a cop lost the game.
Rock beats Scissors — and it definitely beats prosecution for underage drinking.
A girl avoided an underage drinking ticket by defeating an officer at Rock, Paper, Scissors at a country music festival and fundraiser in Snook, Texas, over the weekend.
The drunken Chilifest crowd cheered when the girl bested one of the officers by throwing rock to his scissors, according to a Texas A&M student’s Vine video that’s gone viral.
As the girl hugged her friend in relief, the defeated officers walked away from the scene.
The cops’ departments will decide whether to pursue disciplinary action after police officials saw the video, Burleson County Constable Dennis Gaas told KBTX.
The unnamed officers will not be allowed to work security at future Chilifests, Gaas said.
While it is an officer’s choice whether to give a warning or citation at the festival — which is known to host a rowdy crowd — police should not “play games to get someone out of a ticket,” Gaas said.
The girl was lucky — 44 other underage partiers were given citations for possessing alcohol, according to the Eagle.
